I help debut authors with review of their manuscripts, beat reading, early reviews and a soundboard for their thoughts and process, helping debut authors feel confident in their work. 

You can expect- 

1. Early Reader Feedback

Think of this as a lite version of a beta read, from the lens of a content creator and target reader:

• First impressions: hook, tone, pacing
• Strengths and standout elements (characters, plot twists, world-building, etc.)
• What’s confusing, underdeveloped, or flat
• Emotional reactions (what made you feel something, what didn’t)
• Suggestions for improvement (but not line edits)

⚠️ This is not developmental editing or professional critiquing — it’s honest, intuitive feedback from a well-read, book-obsessed reader.

2. Review Readiness Check

You can advise whether the manuscript feels review-ready for ARCs, or if it might benefit from:

• More polish
• Better pacing
• Stronger opening chapters
• Cover blurb alignment (does the story match the
  pitch?)

3. Sensitivity Note (if applicable)

If you notice potentially problematic elements (e.g., harmful tropes, cultural inaccuracies, representation issues), you can flag them gently for the author’s consideration.

4.       Private Review / Blurb Suggestions

• A written review for internal use (the author can quote you later if they wish)
• Optional: Suggesting a short, catchy blurb they could use for promo
• Optional: Writing a Goodreads-style review to publish post-release

5.       Timeline Edits

• A review of the timeline in the book to ensure no inaccuracies are made.
• Date and day confirmation and checks for inaccuracies.

6.        Social Media Promotion (Optional, if mutually agreed)

• Teaser reel or book aesthetic
• Cover reveal (if it’s been finalized)
• Shoutout during publication week or pre-order promo

7.       Optional Add-ons You Could Offer (Paid or Tiered)

• Full beta read
• Promotional content pack (reels, posts, Pinterest pins)
• ARC feedback plan (staggered review + social roll-out)
• Author feature or mini-interview
